Inside: Loom knit Dewdrop Washcloth pattern with free instructions, chart and video for 2 sizes!
Washcloths. They’re humble. They have a humble job to do cleaning up. But that doesn’t mean they can’t look fabulous while they’re hard at work.
Washcloths make a quick, easy and economical addition to include in a spa set, bridal shower gift or a “just because” for a good friend. But they can be a bit boring.
Loom knit an entire spa set with these great patterns:
Sure garter stitch is easy, but it’s just so, so… garter-y. (Yup, I’m making up words here.) Washcloths are the perfect size for trying out new stitch patterns. They’re just big enough to get the hang of the stitch, but you’re not stuck working on it for next 65 inches.
It’s time to add a little flair to your next washcloth with the dewdrop stitch. This lightly textured stitch makes a beautiful washcloth that is easy to loom knit.
The pattern includes written instructions, charts and, of course, a video link for both the Classic Dewdrop stitch (blue washcloth) and the Dewdrop Variation (cream washcloth).

Instructions listed are for medium size washcloth. Adjustments for larger size are listed in parentheses ().
Cast on: I recommend using either the crochet or long tail cast on.
Bind off: I recommend using either the crochet or super stretchy bind off.
Slipped stitch edge: In the video I work Rows 1-7 and slip the first stitch of the row. The chart I included shows the first stitch as knit/purl, but if you prefer to slip those you may.
Chart: The charts are given for the medium size washcloth only. To make the large washcloth work one additional pattern repeat (shown in the red box on the charts).
