Inside: Free crochet Lacy Shawl pattern including written row instructions and tutorial videos for both right and left handed crocheters.
As a crochet designer and instructor, there are few things that inspire me more than seeing one of my designs reimagined.
During one of my live broadcasts (Fridays at 10 Central on GoodKnit Kisses YouTube) back in May, we were discussing my Lacy Placemat pattern. Someone suggested it would make a lovely shawl if it were enlarged.
Well, one of my YouTube VIP Members, Marleen Pulkrabek, did just that! She took the basic placemat pattern and lengthened the starting chain to accomodate the entire length of the shawl. Then she followed the pattern and crocheted to the finished width. She chose a cotton bamboo yarn that drapes beautifully.
The result is the STUNNING wrap you see here!
Many thanks to Marleen for sharing her beautiful project with all of us. She gave me permission to publish the finished pattern so you, too, can make this shawl.
The Crochet Lacy Shawl surrounds you in comfortable beauty. This beautiful rectangular wrap is an easy project using the lacy tipped blocks stitch pattern. With a 2-row repeat this project works up quickly.
Pattern contains written instructions and, of course, links to fully-captioned tutorial videos for both right and left handed crocheters.
