Inside: Written instructions, chart and tutorial video for the loom knit garter inverted V eyelet lace stitch pattern.
As we’ve been working through how to loom knit eyelets and seeing how they combine to create lace stitch patterns, I discovered this beautiful design!
Instead of just using eyelets like the V Eyelet Lace, this stitch pattern adds garter stitch in the middle of the V’s to created textured triangles. They almost look like Christmas Trees, don’t they?

CHART
The area in red shows one 18 stitch/14 row repeat for reference.
To see this stitch pattern used in a design, I created the Garter Inverted V Eyelets Square.
The Garter Inverted V Eyelets Square combines eyelets and garter stitch to create textured triangles edged with eyelets. This lacy blanket square pattern is available in 2 sizes: 9” x 7” and 12” x 12”.
Pattern includes written instructions for 2 common sizes, knitting chart of the stitch pattern and links to fully captioned tutorial videos that teach the stitch pattern.

NOTES
I’ve included two square sizes in this pattern that are commonly used to make blankets.
Yarnover: place working yarn in front of peg and move on to next peg.
NOTE: The blanket square pattern below does not correspond exactly to the knitting chart for the stitch pattern. There is an extra foundation row to allow for seaming into a blanket. Rows 4-17 below correspond to Rows 3-16 on the knitting chart. The 12″ square uses 3 pattern repeats.
