About the Deals and this Page:

Most of the patterns listed here are FREE!  Some are always free and some are free for a very limited time.  Sometimes the “free deal” time is unknown so it is best to get it as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.  Some require a code to get them for free and others do not.  Items won’t be marked “FREE” but, unless they say otherwise, you can assume that they are free (assuming they have not expired and you’ve used the correct code, etc…).  I will also post a few sales (especially really big sales – 50% off or better) but those will be marked as “sales” or listed as a percent off so you’ll know they aren’t free.

 

As with anything related to computers, glitches happen.  And, in this case, where I’m posting and editing a LOT of links, links can get broken or be linked incorrectly.  It may be the web tools or it could be my mouse but sometimes the web address for say, a hat, might get inadvertently linked to a one titled for a scarf.  I try to catch these when they occur but sometimes that happens when I’m editing other links and I don’t realize it.  So, the only way I will know if a link is incorrect is if someone tells me.  So, please, if you find that what a link says is not the same as where the link actually takes you, please let me know by either commenting here on this page or (even better) commenting on one of my Pattern Deal Patrol posts on the GKK facebook group.  Commenting (vs emailing) will expedite things so I can correct it as soon as possible.

 

NOTE: A good number of these patterns are available as a Ravelry download; however, some are only available on a blog/website (and some on a blog for a limited time).  In order to print those from the website without printing dozens of comments or more pages than you need, you might want to use some software that will print the pattern cleanly.  One such blog suggests using “Print Friendly” and some blogs have the icon for that built right in.  Personally, I use an app/add-on for Chrome that was recommended to me called “Clean Print.”  If you click “show more” once it opens up the preview, you can make sure that it hasn’t missed any needed text or graphics and add those back in by clicking on the red items; if you click “show less” you can then edit (by hovering and waiting for the X to appear) and delete unnecessary text/graphics.  You can then click PDF to save it as a pdf file and/or print it off (I suggest saving as a pdf and then printing, if desired).
Please note that BRAND NEW additions to this page will be in a different color and will (now) be at the top of each category.  However, I will only keep them that color for that calendar day.  Each day, new additions will be in a different color but, the following day, those will revert to black.
As a general rule, new additions to each sub-category are NOW being added to the TOP of each such sub-category (with the exception of the limited time offers).
