Weave the Split Dot Grid Design!

Weave the Split Dot Grid Design!

Inside: Learn to weaver the Split Dot Grid design with this free potholder pattern. Includes written instructions, link to weaving chart and tutorial video.

It’s springtime and for many people that means gardening!

We’ve all seen the gorgeous pics of raised beds with perfectly spaced flowers, herbs, or veggies. Who doesn’t want that?

But, if you’re like me, you are more skilled at creating with yarn and loom instead of dirt and sunshine. I dedicate this design to all my green thumbed friends.

The Split Dot Grid weaving design reminds me of a neatly organized garden bed. This pattern uses a basic tabby weave with a bold color-block dot design. And the reverse side is mirrored so you can use either side. This design works well alone or with multiple squares quarter turned for a unique quilted look in a larger project.
